Today, the CADler AI team is excited to officially launch its offerings to advance the adoption of AI in the steel and construction industries. This formal launch includes the following:
Two software solutions that automate key workflows in the construction and steel industries
A short video demo
Company-specific scheduled demos of the software
The CADler AI website does the following:
Introduces construction and steel firms to the two initial CADler products that automate key parts of their workflows
Introduces the CADler AI team and company origin story
Invites firms to book a free extended live demo to learn firsthand how CADler AI’s products can help their specific firms and to converse directly with the CADler team
Future-Proofing Automation
Automation will become an increasingly important goal in all commercial industries over the next decade. From products like Chat GPT4 and Open AI’s Sora, to open-source models like Meta’s Llama, AI technology will be at the forefront of business innovation, making workers more productive and eliminating many formerly grueling manual labor hours.
CADler AI brings this level of automation innovation to two of the largest and most important industries in the world: construction and steel. By releasing its first two software products, CADler AI is blazing the trail to industry automation.
Just as large language models are enabling office workers to achieve more progress in their jobs with less tedious effort, CADler AI’s products will do the same for construction and steel workers. Early adopters who start training employees on the use of CADler AI software will enjoy the immediate benefits of saving time while also empowering their employees long term by familiarizing them with AI tools that will continue to enhance their skillset and personal productivity into the future.
Building on Already Familiar Software
By working with both Revit and Tekla software, CADler AI provides the benefits of AI automation without dramatically disrupting employees’ current workflow. This decision not only makes CADler AI a better product, but also strengthens Revit and Tekla products, even further benefitting employees without forcing them to change their preferred CAD software.
CADler Estimator
The first product is the CADler Estimator, a tool that uses AI principles to extract the contents of Revit documents and to export a spreadsheet of building materials for estimators. The patent-pending process delivers spreadsheets of build materials in just a few clicks, saving estimators’ workload hours.
Saving this time enables estimators to submit more bids while simultaneously spending significantly fewer resources to generate their estimations. The CADler AI team knows these savings will be invaluable to construction estimators around the globe, so it is pleased to offer the first version of CADler Estimator to the public.

CADler Model Maker
The CADler Model Maker, the second tool from CADler AI, automates the process of building Revit models into 3D Telka Structures software. Years in the creation and refinement by expert software developer and steel detailer Jonathan Hutchins in his role at SteelFab, its patented-pending approach to automation in the steel detailing industry saves steel detailers many hours each week. These hours are currently spent manually building models from Revit documents into 3D Tekla models.
CADler AI foresees that its products will be an industry standard in automating this model-building process in Tekla from Revit documents, strengthening both Tekla’s and Revit’s place as industry standards in construction and steel detailing software.
Booking the Future of Steel Now
The CADler team plans to implement more platforms to the CADler Model Maker to automate even more aspects of the BIM process.
